01 · Walk
Three stations from the door.
Three stations within a five-minute walk. Different modes, different directions, different fallbacks — so a single line closure rarely isolates the flat.
02 · London trains
Direct where possible.
Whitechapel sits on the Elizabeth line: Bond Street, Farringdon, Canary Wharf and London City Airport are all direct. Shadwell DLR (5 min walk) runs direct to Bank, Canary Wharf and London City. District line gives South Kensington and Wimbledon without a change.
03 · Buses
Useful surface routes.
Routes 25, 135 and 205 stop on Whitechapel Road; route 135 also runs along Commercial Road to the south. Route 205 goes via Liverpool Street before continuing to King's Cross, Euston and Paddington. Verify routes on live TfL planner.

04 · National Rail
London's main termini. One stop away.
Liverpool Street is direct from Whitechapel. Farringdon unlocks King's Cross, St Pancras, and Thameslink north and south. Paddington is two stops on the Elizabeth line.

05 · International
Every London airport. Eurostar. One change at most.
Heathrow direct on the Elizabeth line. London City direct — Elizabeth line to Custom House or DLR via Shadwell. Gatwick and Luton via Farringdon Thameslink. Stansted Express from Liverpool Street. Paris and Brussels one change via St Pancras. Liverpool Street, Farringdon and King's Cross are all on the Circle line.
